Sometimes, I'm asked, "What would you say to someone who smokes?" I think they ask me that because I'm always sharing the message about K.A.T.S. and think I'm "anti-smoker". The truth is, there are lots of resources to help people quit smoking, but what we're committed to is helping to educate kids so that they never pick up that first cigarette.
A lot of smokers feel persecuted and bullied about smoking. That's not what we're here to do. Almost every person I've spoken to - smoker or not - agrees that they would never encourage someone to start smoking. We support that idea. We want to help inform kids about the dangers, costs, and lies associated with smoking so they never want to start.
